We are currently searching for a Java Developer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. You must be local or relocate to this area.
Responsible for development/coding of applications according to functional specifications utilizing basic knowledge. Support role (maintenance/breakfix, minor enhancement, ITIL process, etc Must be familiar with client server programming methodology. May also work directly with customers, dealers, business units, etc. to create/refine functional specifications. Follows established processes, procedures, and best practices utilizing prescribed tools and/or methodologies with limited oversight/guidance. More experienced role holders may begin to enhance and/or create new processes/procedures. They test the application and develop enhancements that enable a positive end user experience. Essentially , they product application programs in accordance with a specified business need. Typically, they work as part of a project team, and also communicate progress, technical issues, and the resolution.
