About Cloud Infrastructure Services:
The Cloud Infrastructure Services Business Unit (CIS) provides managed services for cloud and traditional hosting outsourcing, including data centre management, Service Desk, Network Services, as well as providing service integration and service migration project and consulting support.
Other services include infrastructure transformation services plus assisting customers during IT consolidation, business acquisitions and divestitures.
CIS also enables customer IT virtualization and optimisation of IT investment as part of the integrated suite of IT service offerings.
A core CIS focus area is delivering a broad range of cloud services under Cloud Choice which includes design, migration and run support for customer IT services on leading private and public cloud platforms.
Strong Oracle core DBA skills
- Strong diagnostic and performance tuning skills
- Install/Upgrade Oracle E-business
- Strong proponent of process and procedure
Good understanding of Concurrent Manager, how it works, how to correctly stop and start, configuration of specialized managers, differences between types of manager, and how to diagnose issues in the Concurrent Manager system.
Good understanding of Output Post Processor ( OPP), how to correctly stop and start, and how to diagnose issues with Output Post Processor
Good understanding of E-Business Suite security, including how to set up roles and responsibilities
Good understanding of Workflow Notification Mailer, how to set it up, how to correctly stop and start, how to diagnose issues with Workflow Mailer
Ability to correctly change application parameters using Configuration Editor and auto-configuration tools, understanding of the configuration xml files, where they are located and how they relate to the other application files. Ability to diagnose and correctly repair issues when these procedures have not been followed
Good understanding of ‘middleware’ components such as Oracle Forms, Reports, Weblogic, OACore, JVM, etc.
Good understanding of Oracle-provided tool for application patching, application cloning, etc.
Good understanding of Unix and/or Linux operating system, storage, and data protection systems
Strong ability to Collaborate with others ( business users, application developers, infrastructure team members), Follow complex documentation without error and produce working documents by simplifying vendor provided documentation so that only the relevant information is included
Ability to write SQL and shell scripts
Understanding of add-on components like BI tools, Hyperion, Vertex tax software, etc. Individual must be open to travel to clients as needed. Interested and qualified candidates may send their resumes to: email@example.com.
