The Infrastructure Services business unit reflects the Collaborative Business Experience, combining Capgemini’ s consulting, infrastructure build and run capabilities, as well as the provision of cloud based services in an integrated global sales and delivery model.  The group provides infrastructure outsourcing services, including data center, helpdesk and network support, as well as market leading services such as service integration and cloud brokering orchestration. The group also provides infrastructure transformation services, helping clients to virtualizes and optimize their technology estates. IT Infrastructure Project Manager LOCATION:  Atlanta, GA. Our offices are located Downtown on Trinity.  Will need to report to the office daily Capgemini is build a new team in Atlanta that will be aligned with the GTA.  We were chosen as the multi-sourcing integrator for the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA), which manages the delivery of IT infrastructure services to 85 executive branch agencies and managed network services to 1,300 state and local government entities RESPONSIBILITIES: Individual contributor role Accountable for development of detailed project plans and consolidation of project plans within the portfolio Accountable for planning and implementing application development projects Formal communications (briefings, reports, etc.) Manage multi-site, multi-vendor efforts including multiple internal and external performing teams, service incumbent subject experts, and client stakeholders Accountable for execution, monitoring and control of project plans, including verification and validation of project deliverables quality Accountable for internal and external project progress reporting as prescribed by the Program Management Office Develop and maintain strong client and account team relationships Conduct formal project progress presentations to the client Facilitate and document lessons learned for each project Evaluate project proposals and offer recommendations for improvement.  Contribute to overall PMO initiatives, regardless of specific program or agency assignment.
