ITSM Configuration and Development - Austin TX LOCATION:  Austin, TX Desired, but open on location for the right candidate  RESPONSIBILITIES: The BMC Remedy ITSM Lead Technician/ Developer (level i7) reporting into the State of Texas Tools Operations Delivery Manager will lead the development and custom configuration of ITSM 8.1 system in line with business requirements. Understands and is able to interpret ITSM configuration requirements in the context of the available technical solutions; Understands complex business requirements, collects new requirements to facilitate Continuous service improvement, and is able to articulate an appropriate technical solution for them; Provides production support through the resolution of assigned ITSM administration requests and incidents. Configure and Load Foundation Data:  Company, S ite,  People,   Catalogs Configure and load Incident, Problem, Change configuration Auto-assignments Approval Maps Change Phases Configure and load CMDB Configuration Items Create, Run, and troubleshoot reconciliation jobs Develop, test, and migrate Service Targets in SLM Configure Remedy Knowledge Manager and load KBAs in RKM ARS / Remedy / ITSM development – Assist with design and development of custom application modules.  Custom modules may be either new functionality or extending out of the box functionality. Create forms and workflow using the BMC Developer Studio Tool.  Development may also include interfaces with other tools.
