Paris, London \u2013 October 31 \u2013 Following<\/strong> the statement by Severn Trent plc that Christine Hodgson will become an Independent Non-Executive Director on January 1 2020 and Chair of the Company in April<\/strong><\/a>, Christine will continue, until the end of March, on Capgemini\u2019s Group Executive Committee as Chief CSR Officer and as Chairman of Capgemini in the UK.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChristine\u2019s appointment confirms the very recognition that she built through a memorable performance as a CFO and as a business leader at Capgemini. We wish her well and every success in her next chapter,\u201d <\/em>said Paul Hermelin, Chairman and CEO, Capgemini Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christine will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from January 1, 2020 and will succeed Andrew Duff in April 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the news Christine said: \u201cThis is a great opportunity for me that I am very much looking forward to. After 22 years with the Group, I will be very sad to leave but I will always remain a member of the Capgemini family that has been such an important part of my life.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christine Hodgson joined Capgemini in November 1997 and has held various leadership roles across the Group \u2013 from Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the UK, CFO of Global Outsourcing, and Strategic Business Unit leader for Technology Services North West Europe, through to Chairman of the UK and Chief CSR for the Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
