Job Description:

  • Role Purpose To deliver maintain and operate a Cloud Platform based on AWS tools technologies.
  • Reports to Cloud Operations Manager Relationships Internal Delivery Teams Software Engineers Peers and team members External AWS team Peer organisations to share learning best practice 
  • Key Activities Manage issues on Jira and Assyst within SLA Manage third party relationship and responses 
  • Support Access governance Audit and CISO teams and provide data as and when required Take ownership of delivering assigned objectives and or specific tasks as assigned 
  • Provide analysis and support across the Aviva estate within own area of expertise and when outside of those areas able to source the required support while retaining ownership of the issue 
  • Building and delivering the maintenance and patch plans for the technology Problem management and process improvement around relevant impacted technology 
  • Understand impact of actions and outages and co ordinate with all relevant stakeholders Adopt and use appropriate tooling technologies to achieve goals for the team Understand and have an awareness on third party engagements contracts and agreements 
  • Relationships internal stakeholder and 3rd party building understanding and maintaining
  • Behaviours Analytical thinking and fact finding Planning in particular on deployment implementation 
  • Communication verbal and written Conflict resolution negotiation influencing Organisation planning prioritisation decision making Impact dependency management 
  • Knowledge sharing championing new ways and continuous improvement Meetings and scrums organising facilitating and participating Risk and problem management
