Role:

The Supplier Quality Development Coordinator participates in the selection and development of supplier potential in accordance with values and processes. As part of this, he or she establishes effective communications with suppliers to ensure prompt handling of quality issues.

 

Responsibilities:

Support purchasing and engineering in the development and selection of suppliers.
Lead and collaborate on supplier manufacturing evaluations.
Monitor suppliers during design with an APQP – Advanced Product Quality Planning approach.
Participate, as a member of the multidisciplinary team, in the Review technical specifications (RTS) and plan the submission of the production part approval process (PPAP) with the supplier, follow up, ensure that deadlines are met and provide approval to the supplier to start production.
Identify potential risks in supplier manufacturing processes and make improvements to reduce these risks.
Manage the overall supplier performance evaluation system and participate in the establishment of supplier objectives.
Require action plans for recurring quality or process issues.
Manage Suppliers process audit remotely or on site.
Support the production line in the event of a major quality crisis related to supplier responsibility.
Participate with the multidisciplinary team responsible for resolving service quality problems.
 

Education and experience:

Bachelor of Engineering.
7 years of relevant experience in quality, ideally with suppliers.
Experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in the automotive sector.
Experience as an auditor.
 

Knowledge and skills:

Bilingualism (English / French) oral and written.
Knowledge of continuous improvement and problem solving methods (Kaizen, 5S, 8D; Toyota production system).
Knowledge of "lean manufacturing".
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Be able to make presentations at different levels of the organization and to suppliers.
Good project management skills.
Good communication and ease for working in a multifunctional team.
Leadership, ability to convey ideas.
Knowledge of APQP according to IAAG and ISO / TS or IATF16949 and Quality management.
Be available for travel (National – International) 

Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.  Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

  

You assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel. Collaborate with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods. Supervise, train, mentor junior level programmers in programming and program coding. Represent team in project meetings.  Work with business and functional analysts, and software & solution architects in ensuring that programs and systems function as intended Supervise, mentor and manage large teams of programmers in one or more projects. Represent project teams in project/program meetings or in meetings with sponsor. 

 

 

• Qualifications:  7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Must have experience in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
