043779-Managing Delivery Architect – Solution Architect

Senior Delivery and Client Relationship Manager able to support technology transformation in the Insights and Data domain and with the ambition to manage across multiple areas in addition to insights and Data. Release Engineering, Production Support; coupled with overall understanding of Telco and Media business vertical and technology stack. The focus on solving strategic technology problems with a view on support digital transformation and managing an onshore and offshore delivery team.
Skills and Experience:
Ability to:
Manage a team technology and consultants in project delivery and production support, linking offshore and onshore efforts to driving quality and teamwork
Support client programs with empathy and project discipline with an understanding of business outcomes
Pivot between waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies supporting speed and agility
Support strategic thinking for BI and DevOps architectures and bring a point of view on AI Engineering
Demonstrate knowledge of Telecom and Media architecture, business and technology systems
Solve complex data issues for Telecom customers
Past Experience:
Significant experience in BI, Analytics, and Data Management
Knowledge and experience with Agile transformation, Scrum Certified
Past experience in delivering projects onshore/offshore models; able to work through escalations at multiple levels
Additional Skills:
Understanding of data warehouse design and implementation
Familiarity with leading edge technologies in Insights and Data domain; Big Data, unstructured data, and Data science
Familiarity with technologies and processes for DevOps (quality engineering, release engineering)
High level understanding of variety of  BIM tools and solutions – ability to discuss pros/cons with CTO/CIO/CMO level executives
Prior consulting experience is preferred
Understanding of predictive analytics and ability to apply to Telecom and Media industry specific situations is preferred
Understanding of information discovery and tools used to conduct information discovery
Ability to solution and provide use cases to be used for solution development and client workshop sessions
Should have experience in Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Technical Solution Design, Negotiating, Change Management and Continuous (Service) Improvement.
Should be proficient in Business Analysis  

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Delivery Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks.  They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect.


Day to Day Responsibilities:


• You are responsible for designing and validating a complex architecture and ensuring its successful implementation.

• You should be able to identify and challenge several IT scenarios by taking into account the business environment.

• You work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level in major client organizations.

• You lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence.

• You are seen as a role model in your community.



Required Skills and Experience:


• Qualification:   12+ years, Bachelor’s Degree.


• Certification: Has TOGAF 9 and has IAF level 1 and is seeking level 2.

• Should be experienced in foundation, People Leadership, service & delivery.

• Should be proficient in client acquisition & development and business leadership.

• Should be masters in Technology Awareness & Leveraging and Innovation & Capability Growth.
