Amplify 2015: Helping Enterprises Engage

As Global Initiative Leader for Digital with IBM Commerce at Capgemini, I’m especially excited about IBM’s forthcoming show, Amplify 2015. Between 11-13 May, thousands will descend on San Diego’s Convention Center to learn more about how best to engage customers—both now, and in the future.

I’m excited because it’s so timely. Never before has every customer—no matter what they’re buying, nor whether it’s in a personal or professional capacity—had such high expectations from the companies they spend with. In the digital, ‘always on’ era, engagement is what ultimately attracts, delights and retains clients. And getting it right depends on an increasingly complex combination of factors.

At Amplify 2015, Capgemini will be zeroing in on two vital factors for successful engagement, loyalty and demand-driven supply chain, and will be unveiling two exciting new solutions to meet the challenges they pose: Mobile2Store and Intelligent Commerce and Fulfillment. Both of these solutions, which allow enterprises to seamlessly orchestrate some of the most essential elements of the customer experience, are powered by leading technology solutions from IBM.

I asked some of my Customer Experience and Supply Chain colleagues to explain why Amplify 2015 promises to be such a timely and enlightening event for enterprises across the board.

“We are especially excited to be showcasing partnerships with IBM and JDA [Intelligent Commerce and Fulfillment] at Amplify 2015, where we’ll be presenting use cases of Intelligent Commerce and Fulfillment in our speaker session on 12 May, and showing the deep value that enterprises can gain by understanding—and responding to—how the customer operates in the era of all channel commerce.”
Chris McDivitt
Vice President, Supply Chain Technologies Leader

“Loyalty is changing with the times, as digital comes of age and customer expectations and behaviors evolve. It’s time for loyalty to get joined up, and that means getting truly mobile. I’m really looking forward to sharing more on our Mobile2Store solution, which enables retailers to create seamless and personalized interactions such as real time and location-based offers, including loyalty point redemption, via a single app.”

Global Customer Experience Transformation Lead

I hope you’ll join us as we explore the ‘era of engagement’ for enterprises, and showcase just some of the ways that enterprises can transact even better—and attract, delight and retain customers.
