Get big value from big data at IBM Insight

This month sees Capgemini head to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend IBM Insight (previously Information on Demand) as gold sponsor. IBM Insight focuses on big data and analytics, and comes at a very important time for us all. Why? Because although businesses across the world now count big data as a critical business priority, for many, big insight is eluding them.
We have partnered for many years with IBM, a hands-down leader in big data technology solutions. We’ve worked together to help clients in all industries harness the power of big data and drive business insights that translate to tangible business value.

But there is more work to be done, and IBM is leading the pack. For example, IBM recently launched Watson Analytics, a breakthrough natural language, cognitive service that makes analytics even more intuitive and accessible to business users. Now, business users can cut through data to find, in plain English, exactly what they need to know to make better decisions. This puts usable data and insights within reach of all functions across the enterprise, from marketing to R&D to finance and customer service. And with a ‘freemium’ pricing model[1], Watson Analytics looks set to shake things up.
It’s this foresight and endless quest for innovation that makes IBM such an important partner for Capgemini in big data, a business priority that’s growing, day by day. We’ll be sharing our own insights on getting big value from big data and demonstrating our specialist solutions with IBM at Insight. We hope that if you’re visiting, you’ll join us at booth 729 to learn more.
We’ll also be taking a look at Master Data Management in session IID-4367A (Tuesday 28 October, 16:00), where Capgemini’s George Samuel[2] will be sharing a case study on how we worked with a leading investment bank to help them identify and implement the right MDM system, ensuring time to value and leadership commitment along the way.
If you can’t join us, watch out for my post after the event, wrapping up some of the most notable takeaways from what promises to be an insightful four days.
