Oracle is moving more and more functions to the cloud, the intention of Oracle is to become the number one in cloud with offerings in SaaS, PaaS and IaaS the company is trying to gain more and more a foothold in this part of the market. Depending on your business cloud can be appealing to you or not. Depending on the nature of the business process cloud can be appealing to you or not. However, one of the prime business processes we see moving to the cloud is human resources related. With the introduction of the Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud companies are picking up on speed and selecting Oracle cloud to move human resources function to.

If we look at which processes are in general moving first to the cloud within the human resources processes we see a trend. Core HR functions are in general moved first, quickly followed by recruiting and then onboarding.
