While this year&#8217;s results show a 1% increase in the median gender pay gap, we recognise that progress is not always linear. This outcome reinforces the importance of the work we are undertaking and highlights where we need to focus our efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What has not changed is our commitment. We continue to invest in policies, programs, and leadership capability that support equity, career progression, and balanced representation across all levels of our organisation. The insights provided through WGEA\u2019s reporting help us better understand the drivers of our gender pay gap and allow us to take informed and targeted action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcome the transparency that WGEA brings to this important national conversation. We remain committed to working collaboratively &#8211; within our teams, across our industry, and with the broader community to create a more inclusive, innovative, and equitable future for Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-our-pathway-to-equity\"><strong>OUR PATHWAY TO EQUITY<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We have progressed in many areas in our pathway to equity. Becoming a platinum employer with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/au-en\/about-us\/csr\/diversity-and-inclusion\/outfront-capgeminis-lgbtq-employee-resource-group\/\">AWEI (Australian Workplace Equality Index)<\/a>&nbsp;and we are recognized as a top 10 best place to work in Australia by Great Places to Work. Our investment in the next generation of tech professionals has us onboarding a gender balanced graduate program year-on-year into our Industry leading,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/au-en\/careers\/career-paths\/students-and-graduates\/\">award winning graduate program.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a number of initiatives that ensure we are fostering, growing and identifying diverse talent. Find out more about these below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/au-en\/news\/inside-stories\/network-connections\/\"><strong>Communities (ENG\u2019s)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Communities \/ Employee Network Groups (ENG\u2019s) are an important aspect of Capgemini\u2019s workplace culture. Our Women at Capgemini Group, which operates in Australia and New Zealand helps shape company policy and culture in meaningful ways, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Developing programs and policies that retain, promote, and develop female talent across our organistion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting engagement and retention through more flexibility at work and parental support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring more women representation in business, client-facing, and core tech roles, through hiring and career pathways (See Relaunch).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/au-en\/careers\/relaunchcapgemini\/\"><strong>Relaunch<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Relaunch at Capgemini is an Australian based three (3) month training and transition program specially aimed at women and gender diverse people looking to re-enter the workforce after a career break. Program participants receive a technology-driven development program with core-consulting courses aimed at upskilling and refreshing each employee\u2019s capabilities on their transition back to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/au-en\/about-us\/csr\/digital-inclusion\/\"><strong>Digital Literacy CSR<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 We continue to build long term partnerships with organisations that help build competency for underrepresented people in STEM Partnering with organisations like TechGirls, Deadly Coders, Nudge and Explore Careers in AU &amp; NZ. These organisations provide programs help to encourage high school girls, gender diverse and Indigenous students into STEM career pathways. Additionally, they provide opportunities to connect with Capgemini so we may inspire, foster and encourage an interest in STEM careers. This is our commitment to encouraging representation of traditionally excluded peoples or minority groups from tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capgemini.com\/au-en\/about-us\/csr\/2023-reflect-reconciliation-action-plan-rap\/\"><strong>RAP (Reconciliation Action Plan)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Capgemini\u2019s vision for reconciliation, is to join hands with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, to ensure their perspectives and voices are heard and valued in all aspects of our operations.<br><br>This includes creating equity of opportunities within our organisation, fostering a culture of understanding and respect for reconciliation, and incorporating Indigenous perspectives into our work practices and solutions and collaborating with clients who share our commitment to reconciliation and sustainability.<br><br><a
