Sarah Song

Testing Analyst in Managed Services at Capgemini Australia and New Zealand

What does your average day look like?

I’m an early riser. I wake up at 5:45am and I start my day with 20 minutes’ yoga and 1-2 hours’ study before work starts. I normally start my workday around 8:00AM and finish around 4:00PM if there are no meetings scheduled. I spend the rest of the time with my family cooking, exercising, playing board games and reading.

What is the best thing about working at Capgemini?

The culture of openness is the best thing about Capgemini. There are no barriers to express my ideas, and there are many people that I can reach freely. I can chat with my buddy, graduate lead, capability lead, my reviewer and even my service line leader whenever required.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

Capgemini’s 7 Values and its people-centric culture makes working at Capgemini different, and that is exactly what I’m proud of.

How are you working towards the future you want?

I will continue to learn not only from the courses I take but also from fellow Capgemini people and through all the projects and collaborative works I undertake.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

Be clear about what you want to be in the future and keep talking to the people around you to ensure you are on the right track towards the future you have imagined for yourself.
