Talend BDE / ETL Developer

As we continue to grow we’re looking for driven and innovative Talend BDE ETL Developer to join our team in Sydney.

About the Role
You will be working within the Reporting and Analytics team to perform reporting, analytics, data management and data quality.

 

About you 

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Expert with Talend BDE and Talend ELT
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure
  • Understanding of software life cycle processes, experience of working in a large-scale program
  • Designing and developing metadata-based ingestion Framework
  • Design, develop, validate and deploy the Talend ELT/ETL processes
  • Proven hands on experience with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Hbase and/or Map Reduce
  • Excellent RDBMS Oracle SQL Server knowledge for development using SQL, PL/SQL, basic UNIX OS and Shell Scripting skills
  • Public sector, media and entertainment industry knowledge – desirable 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ETL
  • Familiar with Cloud technologies
