Capgemini Invent is the digital innovation, transformation and consulting global business line of the Capgemini Group, specialising in advising and supporting enterprises in significant transformation, from innovative strategy to execution and with an unstinting focus on value creation.
We’re looking for a Senior Manager to lead development of Invent’s Intelligent Asset Management strategic advisory capabilities in Australia. You will bring business led engineering expertise gained working within asset management and maintenance functions within an industrial enterprise such as a mining, utilities, oil and gas or transport/logistics organisation. You will be able to join the dots between the business drivers and levers associated with transformation of asset management and the technology choices available, and you will have a clear view about the role that data and technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence, automation and analytics must play as organisations improve their asset/maintenance decision making and processes. You will be excited about the opportunity to advise our clients and support them in the approach they should take in their transformation of asset management decision making within their physical operations (mines, grid, planes etc). You will bring them the latest leading ideas and inventions enabling technology, people and process change required to support efficient, reliable and transformed asset operations. You will shape, sell and deliver transformation and innovation programs across our clients’ physical operations and digital capabilities.
This role will form part of the team responsible for driving the development of Invent’s Intelligent Industry capability in Australia. Intelligent Industry is one of the three global capability areas that make up Capgemini Invent’s global strategy. Intelligent Industry aims to reinvent the future of industry by bringing together the physical and digital worlds: helping companies to invent intelligent products, operations and services at scale, in Australia the team is focused supply chain, asset management and operations transformation.
You will have practical experience of the business and digital transformation of asset operations. You will have the credibility that comes from the learnings drawn from undertaking those implementations in a physical operational context yourself, as well as understanding the system and integration complexities. You will be able to take a client on a journey to transform their asset processes because you have done it yourself or you have provided the advisory before.
What you’ll do:
- Design and deliver digital strategies and transformation programs within asset operations and associated processes for key clients
- Understand and be able to articulate a future view of digital operations
- Identify, lead and shape new business development opportunities
- Inspire, grow and develop our team members
- Bring Capgemini’s and your own expertise to bear with clients, directly and through marketing, speaking and publishing activities.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience, confidence, and maturity in working with leadership including CXO level and dealing with competing initiatives
- Demonstrated experience advising industrial organisations relating to their operations in Australia
- Experience in strategy and execution of major complex transformation programs enabled by tech/data, preferably relating to business and technology considerations.
- Must have a track record of new business generation and ongoing client relationships across multiple assignments
- Experience within the utility value chain is preferred.
- Ability to lead and manage diverse multi-capability teams within the IT and digital realm
