Para cumplir con estas expectativas, se han adoptado metodolog\u00edas \u00e1giles, <strong>DevOps<\/strong> y automatizadas para acelerar el proceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Testing Continuo es el proceso de ejecutar pruebas automatizadas como parte del ciclo de entrega de software con el objetivo de obtener retroalimentaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida para reducir tiempo y costos. Sin embargo, hay una pregunta que molesta a muchos <strong>testers<\/strong>: <strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo deber\u00eda detener el testing?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es una pregunta que normalmente se contesta como parte de los criterios de salida para un plan de pruebas. Consideremos las posibilidades de la vida real:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a) Cuando nos estamos quedando sin tiempo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b) Cuando el tester o el entorno de pruebas est\u00e1 desplegado y listo para otra prueba<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>c) Cuando se acaba el presupuesto del proyecto<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>d) Cuando se ha alcanzado un nivel aceptable de riesgo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>e) Cuando todos los efectos se han encontrado<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el punto de vista del profesional de <strong>testing<\/strong>, la respuesta correcta ser\u00eda: <strong>(d) cuando se ha alcanzado un nivel aceptable de riesgo<\/strong>. Es com\u00fan que las solicitudes del proyecto y del programa signifiquen que estamos forzados a comprometernos y terminar acorralados a \u201caceptar\u201d a acabarnos el tiempo, a que el entorno de pruebas se re implemente o que el presupuesto del proyecto se termine. \u00bfSin embargo, la \u00faltima opci\u00f3n de encontrar todos los \u201cbugs\u201d suena imposible \u2013 cierto?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces en la vida real, \u00bfqu\u00e9 sucede cuando dejamos de hacer pruebas debido a que se nos acab\u00f3 el tiempo o conseguimos un nivel aceptable de riesgo? En estos casos, las pruebas no se paran. O lo hacemos conscientemente, o no, el \u201ctesting\u201d contin\u00faa, pero es llevado a cabo por la comunidad de usuarios finales y si se encuentra alg\u00fan defecto se redirige a la mesa de ayuda de TI. Pero \u00bfes \u00f3ptimo? \u00bfEstamos haciendo la pregunta correcta? En lugar de \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo deber\u00edamos de parar el testing? Deber\u00edamos preguntarnos \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 deber\u00edamos parar el testing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La meta real deber\u00eda ser alcanzar un nivel aceptable de riesgo y los testers pueden hacerlo solo si adoptan una pol\u00edtica de testing continuo. Nosotros condujimos una encuesta global para destacar los retos y potenciales acercamientos para transformar las pr\u00e1cticas de testing en la era de agile y <strong>DevOps<\/strong>. Encuestamos a 500 tomadores de decisiones con funciones de TI trabajando para corporativos o en organizaciones del sector p\u00fablico en ocho diferentes pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De los 500 encuestados, el 32% reconoci\u00f3 haber adoptado completamente el testing continuo. El 25% afirmaron que la gran mayor\u00eda de sus equipos realizan pruebas continuas. Las empresas ahora est\u00e1n adoptando el testing continuo al implementar la automatizaci\u00f3n de pruebas para varias tareas de control de calidad (QA) junto con el movimiento hacia la agilidad y DevOps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras que las organizaciones de hoy han adoptado las metodolog\u00edas \u00e1giles y DevOps, el testing sigue siendo la clave faltante para desbloquear la transformaci\u00f3n completa del ciclo de vida del software.
