Esta celeridad est\u00e1 cambiando sus necesidades y la forma en que interact\u00faan con su entidad financiera. Adem\u00e1s, piden productos y servicios innovadores, a la medida de sus necesidades y con la mejor experiencia de usuario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La lentitud de las entidades en responder a estas expectativas ha sido aprovechada por los nuevos actores no bancos entre los que se encuentran distribuidoras, grandes empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas, o startups financieras tecnol\u00f3gicas (fintech) que, bas\u00e1ndose en su experiencia y conocimiento de la tecnolog\u00eda, no han perdido la oportunidad para entrar en las \u00e1reas &nbsp;m\u00e1s rentables y tradicionales de la banca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a los productos en los que est\u00e1n poniendo mayor foco, los pagos y asesoramiento, donde han entrado Paypal, Mooverang o Fintonic. Les siguen pr\u00e9stamos e inversiones, con empresas como Lending Club, Zopa o Prosper. Tambi\u00e9n grandes empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas, como Apple o Google quieren entrar en el mundo de pagos, con soluciones como ApplePay y GoogleWallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como consecuencia, los bancos se ven obligados a dar respuesta a las mayores expectativas de sus clientes y deben tambi\u00e9n enfrentarse a la p\u00e9rdida de parte de su negocio tradicional en un momento que ya es complicado para el sector (aumento de la presi\u00f3n regulatoria, mayores requerimientos de capital, estrechamiento de m\u00e1rgenes, transformaci\u00f3n digital, etc).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero no todo es negativo, la banca empieza a ver que las fintech &nbsp;pueden ser socios con los que colaborar. Al menos, \u00e9sta es la opini\u00f3n del 65,3% de los directivos entrevistados para la realizaci\u00f3n del WRBR 2016. La forma de colaboraci\u00f3n va desde la puesta en marcha de incubadoras y aceleradoras hasta la compra de empresas. Algunos ejemplos: el BBVA en USA adquiri\u00f3 el banco m\u00f3vil Simple en 2013, y en Reino Unido invirti\u00f3 45 millones de libras en Atom Bank; el Banco de Santander en UK ha creado un fondo de capital-riesgo (Santander Innoventure) de 100 millones de d\u00f3lares para invertir en tecnolog\u00eda; Barclays a trav\u00e9s de su iniciativa Barclays Accelerator ha optado por ceder el uso de locales, equipos y asesoramiento a startups seleccionadas. Y hay muchas iniciativas similares en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otra forma de cooperaci\u00f3n es el desarrollo de APIs abiertas a trav\u00e9s de las cuales datos de clientes propiedad del banco, son accesibles por aplicaciones web o m\u00f3viles de un partner y pueden ser usados para ofrecer productos y servicios atrayentes. Los reguladores tambi\u00e9n se han puesto las pilas: en la Uni\u00f3n Europea, la Directiva de pagos II (PSD2) obliga a los bancos a abrir sus APIs a terceros de confianza si el cliente da su consentimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora bien, para afrontar un entorno colaborativo en el que se beneficien ambas partes el banco requiere de unos sistemas de back-end \u00e1giles y escalables, sin aplicaciones obsoletas y sin silos de datos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo ser\u00e1 la relaci\u00f3n entre los bancos y las fintech? \u00bfQu\u00e9 colaboraciones ser\u00e1n m\u00e1s destacables? Tendremos que estar muy atentos a todas estas cuestiones ya que estamos en una \u00e9poca de cambios para el
