(Confieso que nunca he le\u00eddo nada m\u00e1s desafiante que Harry Potter). Habiendo terminado una serie de reuniones con CXOs de varias compa\u00f1\u00edas grandes, me re\u00ed entre dientes ante estos clientes sobre c\u00f3mo Capgemini con SAP era un verdadero diferenciador del resto. Habiendo sido el Jefe de todos los Servicios Basados \u200b\u200ben Paquetes en el Reino Unido para Capgemini durante la mejor mitad de esta d\u00e9cada, estudiando espec\u00edficamente a los competidores m\u00e1s \u00e1giles de SAP, tuve algunos conocimientos s\u00f3lidos sobre los viajes de los clientes mientras jugaba como abogado del diablo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No es un secreto que muchas transformaciones digitales est\u00e1n sobre una plataforma SAP existente. Tampoco es un secreto, que las personas no consideran que SAP sea lo suficientemente \u201csexy\u201d y temen (junto con la posibilidad de un ritmo lento para la soluci\u00f3n a sus necesidades) a la complicada hoja de c\u00e1lculo de ingresos de la licencia y el trato con el ej\u00e9rcito de socios y personal de los Centros de Excelencia (COEs) quienes son los guardianes de SAP. Es un claro \u201cno-go\u201d, en las nuevas formas de negocios de hoy. SAP tiene que proyectarse como l\u00edder disruptivo, genial en el mundo como con los que tal vez compiti\u00f3 o a quienes rechaz\u00f3 hace algunos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cultura y la mentalidad de la gente de las compa\u00f1\u00edas de vanguardia que pisaban los talones de SAP era la de ser atrayentes, mostrando un optimismo nuevo y evang\u00e9lico sobre sus productos con convicci\u00f3n. Casi no pareci\u00f3 importar en qu\u00e9 los desafiaran: marketing, finanzas, manufactura, cadena de suministro, recursos humanos, ten\u00edan algo que mostrar. Su primera prioridad era averiguar qu\u00e9 molestaba a los usuarios finales de estos clientes. No importaba si eras una empresa de mantenimiento de plantas ubicada en Europa y rastreabas productos en Australia. Todo lo que importaba era saber c\u00f3mo se estaba viendo afectada la lista de materiales y por qu\u00e9 los usuarios finales se quejaban. Entonces, el simulacro, independientemente del caso que se les arroj\u00f3, fue el mismo: sesiones de \u201cdesign thinking\u201d, esquemas iniciales y posterior desarrollo \u00e1gil, pantallas simples y hermosas, que s\u00f3lo proporcionan la informaci\u00f3n necesaria, para evitar que las personas se quejaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Da un vistazo profundo y te dar\u00e1s cuenta de que hay muchas lagunas. T\u00fa construyes varias tablas y aplicaciones a medida, la conciliaci\u00f3n y la captura de datos no fue estandarizada o no es coherente, sin embargo, fueron bien recibidas y SAP fue tolerada a pesar de la capacidad de SAP para ofrecer una soluci\u00f3n totalmente integrada. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 entonces no se us\u00f3 SAP? En algunos casos, descubr\u00ed que SAP ni siquiera fue considerado. Con s\u00f3lo pensar en el largo ciclo de recopilaci\u00f3n de requisitos, la complejidad y los costos de administraci\u00f3n del cambio, un n\u00famero infinito de novedades de los consultores de SAP hizo que los clientes se marearan. Los clientes sintieron que cualquier construcci\u00f3n y despliegue llevar\u00eda un a\u00f1o y una peque\u00f1a fortuna de dinero basada en experiencias pasadas. El impacto en el negocio fue la p\u00e9rdida de clientes. No, gracias, SAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, yo cre\u00eda en ese entonces, y ahora m\u00e1s a\u00fan, todo lo que la mayor\u00eda de los clientes deseaban podr\u00eda haberse logrado en los plazos que deseaban, con una soluci\u00f3n significativamente m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida. El clima, ya sea en las instalaciones o basado en la nube, cualquier aplicaci\u00f3n a medida puede desarrollarse utilizando SAP Cloud Platform (SCP). La pregunta vuelve: \u00bfEs el pensamiento de la vieja escuela de SAP y su propio ecosistema el que est\u00e1 fallando? \u00bfDebemos pasar en su totalidad, el siempre doloroso proceso de recopilaci\u00f3n de requisitos, la reuni\u00f3n de usuarios clave con el gobierno de SAP CC, las m\u00faltiples discusiones con licencias, los entornos de alojamiento, las pruebas retroactivas, la clasificaci\u00f3n de los tipos de pedidos, etc.?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAP y todos nosotros en Capgemini estamos adoptando las nuevas metodolog\u00edas y formas de trabajo. En el Centro Europeo de Excelencia SAP de Capgemini, nos centramos en el verdadero problema, nos preocupamos menos por las integraciones en el inicio, creamos arquitecturas basadas en plataformas m\u00e1s nuevas, construyendo sobre la marcha desde un Producto M\u00ednimo Viable que se utilizar\u00e1 hasta que algo nuevo nos permita transformarnos nuevamente a bajo costo y alta fidelidad. Esto nos est\u00e1 ayudando a ganar clientes en el campo. Tenemos clientes que consideran a SAP nuevamente. Estamos jugando con SAP y con nuestros competidores en su propio terreno, pero no s\u00f3lo en una narrativa de marketing. \u00a1Venimos con una soluci\u00f3n \u00e1gil pero robusta que los clientes adoran!
