Una de las pr\u00e1cticas m\u00e1s innovadoras que se lleva a cabo en la actualidad consiste en desarrollar medidas que permitan poner en jaque las pr\u00e1cticas fraudulentas. Aunque el control del fraude puede extenderse a cualquier sector, bas\u00e1ndose en el estudio de las reglas de negocio que lo determinan, en este caso se expone de manera sucinta un caso concreto en el \u00e1mbito del sector Retail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se debe reconocer que el fraude en las empresas es dif\u00edcil de identificar y justificar aunque las tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n, y m\u00e1s concretamente, las t\u00e9cnicas anal\u00edticas que bucean en ingentes vol\u00famenes de datos empresariales permiten se\u00f1alar comportamientos sospechosos, susceptibles de ser estudiados en mayor detalle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No se puede negar que los comportamientos fraudulentos existen desde la antig\u00fcedad, y por ello se han ido a\u00f1adiendo medidas de gesti\u00f3n a los negocios a lo largo de la historia. Hoy en d\u00eda, las nuevas medidas que alertan del fraude deben adecuarse al contexto tecnol\u00f3gico en el que vivimos, considerando que las transacciones tienen lugar en cajas autom\u00e1ticas que recogen, normalmente en forma de ticket o factura, cada una de las compras que se realizan. Cuanto m\u00e1s grande es la organizaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil se hace&nbsp;realizar un control de lo que sucede en el momento de facturar en las cajas, y es en estos casos cuando cobra especial sentido disponer de mecanismos que permitan ejercer un seguimiento pormenorizado y automatizado. Adem\u00e1s de la gesti\u00f3n del fraude, estas herramientas permiten optimizar el proceso de facturaci\u00f3n, asumiendo que los operarios que facturan en las cajas pueden cometer errores metodol\u00f3gicos involuntarios (de buena fe) que provocan p\u00e9rdidas y despilfarro econ\u00f3mico cuando se suma al conjunto de todo el negocio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los eventos que ocurren en el momento de facturar son la materia prima y la base para que los expertos en el an\u00e1lisis de datos \u2013 recientemente llamados <strong><em>Data Scientist<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 puedan realizar el estudio del fraude, analizando algunos tales como la consulta de datos de productos, el \u201cbip\u201d de cada producto en el scanner de caja, la apertura del caj\u00f3n en la caja, la anulaci\u00f3n de un ticket, etc que permiten definir reglas o filtros sobre los datos hist\u00f3ricos y establecer patrones de comportamiento. La potencia de la herramienta debe permitir la parametrizaci\u00f3n de los filtros de forma \u00e1gil y flexible para, a partir de los eventos, identificar incidencias sospechosas para el an\u00e1lisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como se puede intuir, uno de los grandes retos de los analistas consiste en determinar las reglas de negocio que delimiten los casos de estudio, y m\u00e1s concretamente, los valores concretos del n\u00famero de ocurrencias e intervalos de tiempo a considerar en cada caso. Para determinar dichos valores es importante utilizar c\u00e1lculos estad\u00edsticos, ya que normalmente los valores adecuados est\u00e1n por encima de la media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los grandes retos en proyectos para la Gesti\u00f3n del Fraude son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La gesti\u00f3n de grandes vol\u00famenes de datos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporar datos desestructurados.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Velocidad de procesamiento.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Definir reglas de negocio complejas para determinar patrones de comportamiento.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9stos motivan y obligan a las compa\u00f1\u00edas a plantearse estrategias y arquitecturas de sus sistemas diferentes para procesar la informaci\u00f3n. En este terreno, el paradigma de <strong><em>Big Data<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;cada vez gana m\u00e1s adeptos y son muchos los clientes que se interesan por \u00e9l, conocedores de que no s\u00f3lo hay que dar cobertura a las necesidades del momento, sino que tambi\u00e9n hay que estar preparados para el futuro: <em>los datos pueden crecer de manera exponencial a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El futuro de estos sistemas anal\u00edticos est\u00e1 asegurado y actualmente existe un inter\u00e9s creciente en ellos, quiz\u00e1 por la situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica vivida en los \u00faltimos tiempos, que obliga a las compa\u00f1\u00edas a establecer pol\u00edticas que optimicen todos sus recursos y que potencien su imagen interna o
