Por ejemplo, si consideramos una transformaci\u00f3n funcional de la funci\u00f3n financiera, una funci\u00f3n m\u00e1s madura digitalmente podr\u00eda ser usar chatbots, asistentes cognitivos y herramientas y activos de autoservicio para mejorar el acceso de los usuarios a los datos financieros, optimizar el proceso de recopilaci\u00f3n de datos y use an\u00e1lisis avanzados para identificar constantemente oportunidades para mejorar el rendimiento. Adem\u00e1s, concentrar los esfuerzos para reinventar el \u201ccoraz\u00f3n del negocio\u201d en las etapas preliminares de una transformaci\u00f3n es un precursor cr\u00edtico para una transformaci\u00f3n completa de la oficina principal. Una vez que una transformaci\u00f3n de back-office es exitosa, la organizaci\u00f3n puede volver a aplicar los aprendizajes de una transformaci\u00f3n funcional de back-office a m\u00e1s funciones de front-end \/ orientadas al mercado, como operaciones de clientes y marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cartera de iniciativas debe dise\u00f1arse de manera que <strong>no solo equilibre la necesidad de mejoras a corto plazo con objetivos estrat\u00e9gicos a m\u00e1s largo plazo y la evoluci\u00f3n del modelo de negocio<\/strong>, sino que tambi\u00e9n permita que la organizaci\u00f3n responda dentro de un perfil de riesgo con el cual todas las partes interesadas se sientan c\u00f3modas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Por ejemplo, al principio, las organizaciones pueden embarcarse en este viaje de transformaci\u00f3n con iniciativas que tienen un alcance limitado dentro de la cadena de valor y que no cambiar\u00e1n fundamentalmente las ofertas existentes o el modelo comercial. El objetivo aqu\u00ed es mejorar tanto la eficiencia operativa como la efectividad de las ventas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Una vez que las organizaciones obtienen ganancias r\u00e1pidas como estas, pueden intentar reinventar ofertas o modelos comerciales simplemente combinando productos y servicios de formas nuevas e innovadoras, haciendo un mejor uso de la anal\u00edtica, dise\u00f1ando nuevos modelos econ\u00f3micos o reempacando una oferta existente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Una vez que el liderazgo conf\u00eda bastante en el \u00e9xito de tales iniciativas, las organizaciones pueden analizar iniciativas destinadas a transformar la cadena de valor. Estas iniciativas a menudo trascienden los l\u00edmites de la organizaci\u00f3n (por ejemplo, funciones o geograf\u00edas) y la gesti\u00f3n del cambio puede ser sustancial.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cuando estos cosechan beneficios como se esperaba, las organizaciones pueden pensar en una reinvenci\u00f3n completa del modelo de negocio. Sin embargo, esto requiere visi\u00f3n, habilidades creativas y, a menudo, l\u00edderes innovadores que puedan apoyar a la organizaci\u00f3n en esta reinvenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El papel de un CDO \/ CIO es de suma importancia en un viaje de transformaci\u00f3n digital. El CDO no solo es responsable de desarrollar capacidades con visi\u00f3n de futuro, sino que tambi\u00e9n se le conf\u00eda la preparaci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples perspectivas sobre el portafolio estrat\u00e9gico de la organizaci\u00f3n, con lo digital como un aspecto central de este.
