Con ello, los principales tomadores de decisiones estrat\u00e9gicas tendr\u00e1n en sus manos informaci\u00f3n de valor para el an\u00e1lisis y la toma de mejores decisiones para el negocio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 tan real es que los datos ayudan a los negocios? En un estudio realizado por el Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n de Capgemini (<a href=\"\/ar-es\/insights\/biblioteca-de-investigacion\/la-empresa-basada-en-datos\/\">The data-powered enterprise: Why organizations must strengthen their data mastery<\/a>), se encontr\u00f3 que las empresas impulsadas por datos logran superar ampliamente a sus competidores al ser 22% m\u00e1s rentables y generar 70% m\u00e1s de ingreso por empleado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto demuestra que el dominio en el uso y an\u00e1lisis de los datos es fundamental para obtener una ventaja competitiva. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Simplemente porque las decisiones se toman basadas en n\u00fameros y en tiempo real. De poco sirve hacer un plan en el que se busca, por ejemplo, incrementar 40% la producci\u00f3n de un determinado producto si las ventas reales demuestran que no tiene tanta demanda, y que ello generar\u00e1 gastos de producci\u00f3n y almacenaje innecesarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siguiendo este mismo ejemplo, los representantes de la compa\u00f1\u00eda tendr\u00edan a su alcance informaci\u00f3n que les permita conocer c\u00f3mo ha sido el comportamiento de venta de ese producto, y qui\u00e9nes son las empresas o personas que lo est\u00e1n consumiendo. Con la informaci\u00f3n correcta, ellos podr\u00e1n determinar si es necesario realizar alguna campa\u00f1a adicional para posicionarlo en la mente de sus posibles consumidores, o bien, revisar con los clientes actuales, qu\u00e9 es lo que m\u00e1s les gusta y qu\u00e9 esperar\u00edan de \u00e9l para incrementar su compra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de que el uso adecuado de los datos puede generar una ventaja competitiva, en el estudio de Capgemini tambi\u00e9n se encontr\u00f3 que 51% de las veces las empresas siguen usando datos hist\u00f3ricos con un enfoque reactivo, 23% utilizan esquemas predictivos, mientras que el 18% de las veces manejan esquemas prescriptivos y 18% basados en un enfoque aut\u00f3nomo o automatizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy, menos del 40% de las organizaciones utilizan conocimientos basados \u200b\u200ben datos para impulsar el valor empresarial y la innovaci\u00f3n. \u00bfA qu\u00e9 se debe? Es de comprender que hoy todav\u00eda, algunos empresarios tienen dudas respecto a la adopci\u00f3n de sistemas tecnol\u00f3gicos que les ayuden a optimizar sus procesos y, al mismo tiempo, generen datos digitalizados que les sirvan para tomar mejores decisiones.
