Global BSI certifications to key international standards awarded to Capgemini

Publish date:

The process of certification has been very motivational.  It has enabled us to better demonstrate the enhanced resilience of Cloud Infrastructure services through the strength of its management systems and exploit our best practices according to international standards.

As the Global Quality Capability lead for Cloud Infrastructure Services, I understand the value of putting your own organization under the microscope. Quality Management is an enabler for business benefits and ISO standards are an enabler for continuous quality improvement.

You can follow ISO standards without certification, but having external eyes look at your organization helps you implement a high standard of quality and service management and really embed it. This, in turn, delivers better quality, more satisfied customers and, ultimately, improved business performance.

The process of certification has been very motivational.  It has enabled us to better demonstrate the enhanced resilience of Cloud Infrastructure services through the strength of its management systems and exploit our best practices according to international standards.

Using BSI* as our global certification partner, Cloud Infrastructure Services has achieved global ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO/IEC 20000-1 (IT Service Management) certifications, bringing greater consistency, standardization, and harmonization to its global management systems.

I am delighted to be able to say that this achievement differentiates Capgemini for excellence in our delivery. It also confirms our leadership within the industry, a position we reached by exploiting best practices according to international standards.

*BSI (British Standards Institution) is the business standards company that equips businesses with the necessary solutions to turn standards of best practice into habits of excellence.
