 Biomimicry and its Organizational Applications

By Max Tau, Capgemini Netherlands

Ok, ok, I know… I have, indeed, been absent in recent weeks here on the Capgemini Sustainability Blog.

I do have a note from home though.

The Nyenrode Career Challenge 2013 was a great success, offering participants and jury members alike a real insight into how my generation sees their role as stewards of responsible global enterprise. Asking participants to engage the question “what is your vision for a sustainable value chain for the next 10 years?”

By taking a look past the 2020 goals of many, you encourage a vision past the current ambitious targets set by all elements in the global business environment. From public services like health and economic development, to private retail and product based industry, to service and finance based infrastructure, 49 finalists were able to pitch their solutions to an A-list panel from both the corporate and academic worlds.

49 visions from places far and wide were shared, and questions relating to how those compelling personal views can be applied to management level at global players in enterprise were disclosed.

An enthusiastic response in the question rounds from Capgemini Application Services CFO Andy Berrens (seated on the left).
