petecoffeeNairobi’s iHub is an open space for geeks, hackers and investors. It acts as a model for all of Africa.

The indisputable sign of legitimacy: they have a Pete’s Coffee, just like you can find everywhere in Silicon Valley. (According to connoisseurs – and who isn’t a connoisseur in the San Francisco Bay Area? – it’s much better than Starbucks).

While there’s one less “e” in iHub’s Pete’s, you can hardly tell. And they make good coffee.

PS. I interviewed the owner of the cafe: he actually is named Pete, and he was a barista – he smiled at this.
