Capgemini-IBM Alliance offers solutions to leverage strengths in consulting, technology and outsourcing.

IBM, the world’s largest technology company, and Capgemini, a leader in service-oriented architecture (SOA), have been partners since 2001. We combine our technology expertise and high-level thinking to transform the way businesses work.

Two Market Leaders in SOA

AMR Research positions IBM as the most often mentioned vendor as leader in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and it claimed more than 40% of market share in 2004. Capgemini was positioned as one of the Market Makers by research from IDC in 2005. So this alliance sees two of the market leaders in SOA team up to provide clients with leading-edge solutions.

Our partnership with IBM focuses on creating a wider, open and much more integrated infrastructure to serve business users, and is grounded in a shared underlying vision of SOA:

  • IBM’s flexible approach to building systems dovetails perfectly with Capgemini’s strategy of gradual business transformation.
  • Both IBM and Capgemini view technology first and foremost as a business enabler and approach SOA from a people-centric perspective.

Improving Business Performance and Productivity

Our complementary service-oriented products and solutions enable clients to make the most of their existing applications while increasing adaptability and flexibility.

Capgemini solutions enabled by IBM technology cover the entire cycle, from modelling to assembling, deployment and monitoring. Our consultants leverage their deep knowledge and experience of implementing IBM products to help clients:

  • Build more flexible solutions which are easily adaptable to future needs and requirements
  • Improve their responsiveness and productivity
  • Focus on core competencies
  • Migrate towards a Service-Oriented Architecture gradually, based on a clear roadmap
