Benchmarking automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across a wide range of financial, operational, commercial and personnel metrics can help provide better performance evaluation. This was the premise of Capgemini’s Automotive OEM Benchmarking Study, which provides a holistic appraisal of each of the top 11 vehicle manufacturers (based on 2005 consolidated annual group revenues): General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen, Nissan, Honda, PSA Peugeot Citroën, BMW, Fiat and Renault.
