Capgemini, together with our partners Cisco Systems and SAP, is sponsoring a survey to gather insight on how best to manage the intersection between business and technology. Produced by the Economist Intelligence Unit as part of its Global Technology Forum, “Strategic intelligence on the impact of technology on business” seeks the views of senior executives on the extent to which their IT capabilities are able to support and enable business change.
The relentless pace of change is creating a new set of business realities. For one thing, the customer is coming to be the most powerful link in the value chain. For another, companies are increasingly seeking advantages in revenue-generation, sourcing and innovation across the globe. Change itself will be constant, and companies will need to adapt themselves regularly to evolving circumstances. In this environment, the company’s information technology capabilities should not only be aligned with the company’s business objectives, they should also enable the company to change them.
