Fiat, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and Oracle signed an agreement for the foundation of a new company called eSPIN

Business Solutions, Fiat’s Services sector, signed an agreement with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, the multinational leader in consulting and IT services, and Oracle, worldwide leader in e-business applications, for the foundation of a new company, called eSPIN. In the new alliance, Fiat holds a 70% stake, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Italia a 20%, Oracle Italia a 10%.
The new company , based in Milan, will provide integrated solutions and services for Business to Business applications and enterprise management.
The distinctive feature of eSPIN is its ability to provide clients with a global integrated offering: solutions’ design and implementation, services providing via Internet, offering of consulting activities, IT systems integration and customization, with a pay-per-use approach based on actual utilization.
The Company will exceed 300 million Euro of revenues in the coming years and it will reach the break-even point within 24 months.
eSPIN ‘s activity will focus on three main areas:
Buy Side & Market Making – solutions ranging from enterprise e-procurement to complex marketplaces management.
Sell Side – improvement solutions for client relationship management and distribution network optimization (sales networks, dealers, etc.), as well as on advanced Assistance and Service management.
Enterprise Applications – increasing internal management effectiveness and improving the relationship with suppliers, partners and employees within Supply Chain integration, shared product development, employee management.”
