Capgemini honored at 2006 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards
Capgemini UK plc receives Microsoft’s Partner of the Year Award for Sales and Marketing in the Custom Development Solutions category.

This award recognizes Capgemini’s excellence in delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.
Chosen from an international field of top Microsoft Partners, Capgemini was acknowledged for superior Sales and Marketing in the Custom Development Solutions category.
In particular, the award honors Capgemini’s patient portal solution developed for NHS Wales. The portal, “My Health Online”, empowers individuals by increasing their ability to improve their own healthcare. It also gives citizens access to their individual health records.
Allison Watson, Vice-President of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft, noted: “We applaud Capgemini UK plc for its achievements this year and offer gratitude for our ongoing collaboration through the Microsoft Partner Program.”

The award ceremony was held on July 12 2006 in Boston, MA, at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.
