Capgemini Demonstrates RFID Excellence at RFID/EPC Global Conference in Dusseldorf 6-8 September
Capgemini sponsored GS1 Europe/EPCglobal’s RFID/EPCglobal in Europe 2006 Congress and Exhibition, taking place in Dusseldorf, September 6-8.

The Congress was designed to give European companies from diverse industries
a look at the opportunities and market possibilities surrounding RFID. It attracted more than 500 clients and key RFID practitioners and provided
a platform for creating new business opportunities and contacts.
Capgemini showed its RFID industry solutions and participated with a booth at the trade fair show. The core solutions shown at the conference were Cold Chain, Fashion, Distribution Center (DC) Operations, Health and Pharma, Mobile Assets and Track and Trace.
The conference included presentations, breakout sessions and workshops, all aimed at providing extensive insight into the future of RFID technology. Additionally, an interactive “RFID Innovation Park” simulated real-time solutions and applications from established international service providers.
Visit our RFID Experience Center
In addition to the RFID conference Capgemini promoted the possibility to visit the RFID Experience Center. The Center offers the opportunity to see how RFID works in a real-time industrial setting. Every step will be shown, from receiving and mechanized sorting, through packing and loading. It also shows how everything is integrated into the SAP Warehouse Management System. Through your visit, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the potential (and challenges) for implementing RFID at your organization.
