Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Nederland B.V. and LogicaCMG sign contract with Dutch Ministry of Defence

Cap Gemini Ernst & Young / LogicaCMG direction partner for integrated information provision for the Dutch Ministry of Defence

Today the Ministry of Defence and the consortium Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Nederland B.V./LogicaCMG have signed the contract, establishing that this consortium is the direction partner for integrated information provision for the Dutch Ministry of Defence.

The current operational management and supporting information provision of Defence is based on the autonomous branches of military services, which have their own processes and systems. To achieve efficiency benefits these are integrated into an environment of standardized processes with supporting integrated information provision. The consortium will advise and support this transformation process.

The first step of the assignment is defining the ambition level, followed by an investigation of the processes that need to be standardized. From these steps, the scope of the assignment will be defined in detail. The assignment period is eight to ten years and is worth several tens of millions of euros.
