Press Release: Capgemini and Unilever Extend Services Relationship to Include Financial Shared Services for Latin American Operations
8 April 2008 Capgemini announced today that it has signed an agreement with Unilever to acquire and manage the Company’s financial shared service centers in Santiago, Chile, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. The integration and management of the centers will begin in early May. In addition, Capgemini and Unilever will enter into a seven-year agreement to deliver a full range of BPO financial shared services to Unilever’s businesses in Latin America, including specific transactional tax services for Unilever Brazil.

Ce contrat d’une durée de 5 ans porte sur la gestion des infrastructures et des applications et a pour objet de permettre à Maxeda d’atteindre ses objectifs de croissance internationale. Par ailleurs, il permet de renforcer la présence de Capgemini sur le secteur de la distribution.

14 January 2008 Capgemini announced today that one of its Dutch subsidiaries, Capgemini Outsourcing BV, has been selected to manage the IT activities for Maxeda, the largest non-food retailer in the Netherlands. This five-year agreement is for both infrastructure and application management services. The purpose of this agreement is to help Maxeda in achieving its international growth objectives. Furthermore, it strengthens Capgemini's position in the retail sector.
