Come and Meet Capgemini
Doug Houseman, Capgemini, will be lead presenter of the Smart Grid Super Session on April 23. This session will explore the impact of information technology and its profound impact to transform the electric power system. The session will examine the following areas: the smart grid’s self-healing capability, the grid’s security from physical and cyber threats, the grid’s support of distributed generation and lastly, how the grid will enable customers to better control the equipment in their homes and businesses.
Capgemini will also hold a tutorial April 21st focusing on smart metering deployment lessons learned from around the world. The tutorial will be led by Doug Houseman and Meir Shargal, Capgemini.
The Smart Energy Alliance (SEA) sponsor the event and will host a “by invitation only” luncheon / session on “Tomorrow’s Utility Today.”
