Microsoft Selects Capgemini for Partner Awards
Microsoft’s Partner Program Awards highlight exceptional and innovative certified partners that have developed market-leading, Microsoft-based solutions for their customers over the past year.
The “Custom Development Solutions, Web Development Partner of the year” category recognizes partners who focus on the development of customized solutions, web solutions and tools that leverage the Microsoft Visual Studio family of development tools.
Capgemini has been selected for the Pulp Services Online solution, which was developed for Södra Cell, one of the world’s largest suppliers of market paper pulp. Using Microsoft technology, Capgemini created a unique solution, which allows Södra Cell to manage its customers’ paper pulp stocks. Based on a customer portal called âPulp Services Online’, the solution allows smaller customers to manually administer their pulp needs and larger customers to integrate their business systems with Södra Cells.
“The finalists announced demonstrate our diverse and talented partner ecosystem that continues to raise the bar in the design and deployment of customer solutions built on Microsoft technologies,” noted Allison L. Watson, corporate vice president of the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft.
The winners will be revealed at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner conference in Denver, Colorado, on July 11, 2007.
