John W Mc Cain becomes CEO of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in North America
Paris, July 17th 2003
Cap Gemini Ernst& Young today announced the appointment of John W Mc Cain
as CEO of CGE&Y in North America.
John W Mc Cain, 44, was formerly Deputy
Group COO, in charge of Global Sectors and Accounts, Sales, Disciplines and
Alliances and a member of CGE&Y’s
Management Committee. Before joining CGE&Y, he served as President of
EDS’ CIO
Services unit and as President in charge of EDS’ Global Solutions consulting
line of Business.
John McCain will be in charge of strengthening the US operations
- more particularly for the Outsourcing and Technology Services disciplines
- in order to continue
positioning CGE&Y as one of the top tier providers in this market.
He
is replacing Mark Hauser who decided to leave the Group to pursue professional & personal
interests outside CGE&Y. Since the merger with E&Y Consulting in
2000, Mark Hauser was a key contributor to launching CGE&Y’s
global Sectors and Disciplines, and then served as CEO of CGE&Y North
America.
