Redefining Business Capabilities To Change The Game

There are few business managers in larger enterprises who do not share the feeling that it is “the end of business as usual,” and that the years ahead will be different from those that have recently passed. When faced with business challenges, the usual reaction is to focus on a key element that needs to change, and through a tight focus on the issues, execute the necessary change.

Currently, this seems to be unusually difficult as there are so many changes happening at once, and it is not only in our own enterprise, it is in our markets, people, technology and even society.

Interest in “innovation” seems to be replacing the quest for “agility,” as we search for solutions. Why? Because we recognize that doing more of the same, even if with increased flexibility, is not enough. We need to “change our game” to match the changes that are happening externally.
