Building on the success of the World Wealth Report, we are pleased to present you with the third edition of our Asia-Pacific Wealth Report. In recent years, the region has witnessed tremendous economic growth that, in turn, has fuelled an increase in wealth accumulation. This report is another example of our long-standing commitment to better understand the investment behaviours and trends of high net worth individuals (HNWIs) around the world.

The report explores the behaviors of HNWIs in nine markets: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. It shows the region’s wealthy held a combined US$9.5 trillion in financial assets, up 12.5 percent from a year earlier and making up 23.3 percent of global HNWI wealth.
