The need for speed
Creative people have the ability to focus intently and exclusively on a project
during its birth period. Yet there are very few times in the typical work environment
where that is possible. We are constantly bombarded with interruptions. Schedules
prove difficult to coordinate. Meeting after meeting is held to bring stakeholder
groups up to speed and gather feedback. This feedback is then incorporated and
shared with other stakeholder groups in a process that can drag out over weeks,
months, and even years.
