Ava Peyrovan
Senior Consultant - BI/DW Architect for Capgemini Sweden
With Capgemini since 2012
One of the positive things that I really like about Capgemini is its high work ethics and moral which pervade the entire organization.
My path at Capgemini
- Sr. BI/DW Architect and Assignment Manager in May 2012Presently, I´m working as an architect and assignment manager for one of Sweden’s largest Telecom company.
- Sr. BI/DW Developer and Solution Manager in May 2011I managed half of my time as senior developer in a team project and the other half as the projects solution manager for a retail company.
(I have learned a lot in my new role as solution manager) - BI/DW Developer in May 2010I have worked on one of my biggest developer assignment as the only developer in the project for one of Sweden´s largest banking company. (Guess how nervous I was!!)
I was nominated and won the Alan Garner 2010 prize - Tech. BI Consultant in May 2008I was doing my first technical assignment for one of the largest real estate companies in Sweden.
- BI Consultant in May 2006On the first day at work, my first assignment was the Royal court, tea with the Queen?
The Queen didn´t show up, but I got a really nice guided tour of the Royal Palace after the meeting.
Projects I’m proud of
Monitoring and Infrastructure project
By thinking out of the box, we managed to simplify the client's overall view of how their daily work could be facilitated. With limited resources, we not only managed to build a good and solid infrastructure for our client's data warehouse, but also ensured that it is sustainable for many years to come. My proudest moment was to see their appreciation and the realization that we made their day to day work life much easier.

My personal life
There's no better feeling to wake up in a new and unexplored city, knowing that a cappuccino is waiting for me in the nearest Café down the street. With the cup in my hand, I would love to walk around and breathe in the unknown, yet familiar atmosphere. I just love to travel to explore the different languages, flavors, food, drinks, culture, and people.

My usual work day
Monday:
I usually wake up at 5:30 am on weekdays, put on my training clothes and head out for a power walk. I come back home, take a shower, eat breakfast and get dressed, before I take the metro to work. On my way to office, I read my e-mails, look through the day's agenda and my task list before I reach the office at 8 am. My morning usually consists of a short review of the day’s workload with my colleagues and after that normal meetings and telephone calls with clients.
After lunch, there will be a brief reconciliation meeting about the ongoing projects with colleagues in India and then I usually try to keep my Monday afternoon free and work from my desk.
I end my Mondays with a visit to the gym to do Bodypump before I head home for dinner.

My life at Capgemini
The aspects that I like most about working at Capgemini is the opportunity to work with global employees , the high competency and the support you get to utilize and expand your skills and career.
One of the key advantages in this company is all the inspiring and highly educated colleagues that teach you a new thing each day. You are always aware that you can seek an answer just a step away. For me, working as a consultant does also mean that I will meet new people, new challenges and new life experiences, and that from a social perspective I will evolve and make new friends all the time.
