Capgemini cooperates with several external ratings agencies that evaluate companies’ performance in terms of social, environmental and corporate responsibility. This gives us a clearer vision of our achievements, targets and priorities in each area.

Ratings

VIGEO, one of Europe’s leading corporate responsibility ratings agencies, evaluated Capgemini in June 2004 and June 2005. Our score improved in all areas since 2004. The following table highlights the differences between the June 2004 and June 2005 ratings given to Capgemini (Software and IT Services sector):

Capgemini has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series. Created by the independent financial index company FTSE Group, FTSE4Good is a financial index series that is designed to identify and facilitate investment in companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards. Companies in the FTSE4Good Index Series are doing more to manage their social, ethical and environmental impacts, and are better positioned to capitalize on the benefits of responsible business practice.

Capgemini (UK&I) took part in Business in the Community’s 4th Corporate Responsibility Index and were congratulated for our participation, which reinforces our commitment and transparency in managing, measuring and reporting on our business practices.
