We joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2004, as a natural step in the evolution of our commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.
The member companies of this program support and respect ten principles relating to human rights, the environment, labour rights, and anti-corruption.
Companies that choose to sign the compact report to the UN annually to show how they have embedded the principles into their working environment and how they measure progress and compliance.
We have adopted a clear and pragmatic approach to monitoring our Corporate Responsibility, including commitments publicly documented in our annual report reference document. As well as responding to external corporate responsibility ratings agencies we are currently integrating greater internal measures of transparency and reporting, both within the company and in our business partnerships.
Capgemini recently published a formal code of ethics that embraces the principles of the Global Compact.
