Capgemini has a long tradition of engaging with the communities in which we work. We align our community involvement with our business activities and client relationships to ensure maximum impact. We actively encourage employees at all levels to get involved in the communities in which they live and work.

Social Responsibility at Capgemini

In this video, Luc-François Salvador, the Chairman and Managing Director of Sogeti, outlines Capgemini’s role in PlaNet Finance, the international organization that provides microcredit in the fight against poverty. James Robey, Group CSR and Sustainability Director, outlines our global and local initiatives. Finally, the Director of the Foundation, Sheetal Mehta, describes the educational programs for 12,000 girls run by the Naandi Foundation in India, whose main sponsor is Capgemini.

Community Activities

Capgemini has a longstanding history of contributing to our communities through activities such as fundraising, pro-bono consultancy, volunteering, mentoring and financial contributions.

Globally, we support several major programs such as the Naandi Foundation, a leading Indian charity, and PlaNet Finance association, a micro-financing program.
