Responsibilities:
As part of the Capgemini Technology Services Group, this person will be responsible for the full systems lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of program management solutions. This person will work closely with our clients and must demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. This person will also apply subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for each client.Required Skills and Experience:
Scope and Responsibilities -
This individual will be responsible for owning business and account development activities, providing program management and leadership, directing the delivery of consulting engagements, and contributing to the overall management and growth of the practice.
Specific responsibilities include:
Foster and maintain existing relationships and accounts within North America
New business development in the Supply Chain space
Manage large technology transformation programs and projects
Create a positive work environment for and likewise mentor lower-level consultants in the practice
Assist in driving the business to attain growth targets
Provide thought leadership that helps to differentiate and maintain Capgemini's position in the marketplace
Experience Required:
In addition to having a successful track record within a supply chain practice of an established management consulting firm, the ideal candidate will possess:
Broad understanding of the current industry dynamics and trends within Supply Chain
Experience in leading large-scale delivery with the following technologies:
JDA - Demand Planning, Fulfillment, Collaborate, Master Planning, Enterprise Planning (or Arthur), Assortment Planning, Space Planning, Floor Planning, Clustering, Allocation
SAP - APO DP, APO SNP, APO PPDS, SRM, PLM
Oracle - OTM, Demantra, ASCP
PTC - Flex PLM
Proven track record of selling and delivering $7-12mm in technology services on an annual basis
Maintain a growing network of former client and future client relationships
Proposal and contract development
Functional experience in the following areas: Supply Chain Planning, Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, PLM and Logistics
Strong executive presence with good relationship-building and interpersonal skills
Demonstrable experience of mentoring and coaching individuals to high performance
Success in managing large, complex engagements of 20 people or more, leveraging onshore and offshore development teams
Experience in Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Media/Entertainment industries likewise a plus
BS/BA required, MBA preferred
Technology:
• Experience within a program management role
• Experience with planning and managing large global IT projects
• Experience with all aspects of the system implementation including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing the future state solution, the development objects related to their process scope, as well as supporting testing and post implementation activities
• Knowledge of integration points and the order in which these must be executed
• Experience working with design, implementation, and support of knowledge management solutions and related technologies for collaborative information sharing
• Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development
• Experience with large Full Life Cycle (FLC) project implementations
Delivery:
• Experience within a delivery program management lead role
• Experience with client facing consulting engagements
• Extensive experience within management consulting or consulting services (Big 4 preferred)
Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong executive presence and ability to interact with CxO level
• Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications
• Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required
• Creates a shared sense of direction and community among the teams
• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
• Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
• MUST be willing to travel extensively, up to 100%
